First post

There's an eerie feeling writing to seemingly nobody, but knowing that there's going to be someone random seeing this. Well, this is actually the first time I've ever written anything in the form of a blog. I've seen dozens of blogs in my life, but I never wrote one myself because I never thought of a reason for doing so, but today I'm feeling it so here it is, my first post.

Here's a quick self-introduction because you probably don't know about me. Hi, I'm Rex, currently a junior in high school. I'm not the most passionate person when it comes to programming, but it does interest me a lot when I find something new about the topic. I only know python right now but I might pick up another language sometime later. My preferred editor is VScode cause it looks clean. In my free time, I enjoy playing some games/sleeping. Well, I'm not the most productive person out there.

This morning I was thinking about the topics that this blog will focus on, and I was quite indecisive about the contents of it. Eventually, I settled on some ideas the I want to put on this blog/site: my experience and progress as a beginner programmer, new information and knowledge I learn about computer science/programming. I have no idea what format or how I would put this information in, but I'll have to figure it out along the way. For now, this is the plan.
