Sound meter

This is a project that is ongoing in our school's electronic class. The electronic class isn't just any electronic class, but rather we are making wearable electronics. This means we are going to be making a working circuit that we can wear around. We will be making a sound meter using simple circuits. Our materials include an Arduino flora board, a microphone, and 7-10 RGB lights. The idea here is that this circuit should light up accordingly to the level of noise the microphone picks up. We will be using conductive thread so we can eventually sew it on fabric. This is the interesting thing about this project. Our class is actually combining sewing with electronics so it's not too rigid.

This is currently the first step, and my classmates and I are only testing whether the circuit works, so it is sewn on an embroidery hoop, and surely the circuit works. The program was written using Arduino ide in c or c++ I forgot. After this, we will be moving the circuits onto neckties, yes, neckties. If we wear it to something like prom it would be super cool because it will flash accordingly with the music.

Wait for the update after the necktie is finished!
